2000 – Graduated from National University of Seoul, Seoul, Korea, Bachelor (B.S.) and Master (M.S.) in the field of industrial engineering.
2009 – Defended his Ph.D. for operational research thesis: Columbia University.
Experience
2009-2010 – Analyst of Quantitative Analysis, Bloomberg L.P., New York.
Since 2010 – Assistant professor for Operational Strategy and Management at the Graduate School of Management KAIST, Seoul, Korea.
Research Interests
Analysis of the theory of games in supply chains and an operational management interface with accounting / finance (for example, transfer pricing, hedging and risk management) and marketing. He also conducted research on stochastic modeling and its application to hedge fund problems and the evaluation of stock options.
