Biography

Alexander Borodkin was born in 1950 in Moscow. In 1973 he graduated from the Moscow Aviation Technological Institute with a degree in mechanical engineering, specializing in rocket engineering.

Since 1973 he has been working in the Research Institute of Aviation Technology. He grew from engineer to deputy general director. Field of activity: technological support in the development of new aircraft.

Participated in solving current problems in the development and production of missiles, the space shuttle Buran, as well as military and civilian aircraft.

1986 – Defended his Ph.D. thesis.

2000 – Employee of NIAT, he took part in cooperation with Boeing. Since 2004, he has been an employee of Boeing (Boeing Russia Inc.).

1991-2004 – Professor of the Department of Missile Production Technologies of the Moscow Aviation Institute. Now he develops and teaches training courses inside MBDC.

Since 2004 – Deputy Chief Engineer of the Moscow Boeing Design Center (MBDC), responsible for technical support of design projects, system design of discipline development and technical support for cooperation with Russia.
